"Sh. S.D Sharma is a double Gold Medalist from Punjab University who did his research work on Cancer for his M. Sc (Hons.) and the doctoral theses. He joined Indian Revenue Service in 1970 and later the Indian Administrative Service in 1972. During his distinguished career, he has worked at the highest levels in the service in different State Governments and the Central Government in different Ministries including Ministries of Home Affairs. He worked as Principal Secretary HRD, Vice Chancellor of Bhagalpur University and as Chairperson of Joint Entrance Examination Committee.
